North Okanagan Optimist

The North Okanagan Sailing Association (NOSA) is a non - profit society dedicated to the promotion of small boat, dinghy and catamaran sailing. We offer family and individual memberships, Youth and Adult sailing lessons, and regular Thursday night racing for members and enrolled sailing students.

We are located on the East-shore of the Vernon Arm of Lake Okanagan in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada. Our club is on the very spot that Sternwheelers, such as the Sicamous and Aberdeen, were built and launched over a century ago to service the Okanagan Valley. Adjacent to NOSA the public can visit the Okanagan Landing Station House museum with its scale model display of the landing of the early 20th century.

At NOSA, we acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia
